Marcy trained with New York University Choral Arts
Society. Marcy works with vocal students and customizes lessons based on the students goals: tryouts for school plays and
musicals, tryouts for chorus, honors chorus, choir, adults who have always wanted to sing, broadway, holiday, easy listening,
rock and roll. Lessons schedule is the same as the piano schedule:
$50+. The studios maintains all necessary equipment: keyboards, drums, microphones, amps. For
performances, full band backup accompanies the student. Students under the direction of Marcy have made Honors Chorus,
the "lead" for the first time in school musicals, and local theatre parts in musicals for the first time, including
The Venice Players. Marcy stresses performance techniques, and provides vocal exercises.
