The Child Prodigy Series (“CPS” ™) is a nurturing and instructional music program that is geared toward preschoolers,
ages 2-5. The program provides an early start to note reading, rhythm, and playing the piano. The program fosters the ability
to easily segue into private instruction on the piano, vocal, guitar, or drums. The Child Prodigy Series (“CPS”) is a weekly, 30 minute educational and
nurturing program, with a student- teacher ratio of 6: 1. The program is structured, and learning activities flow smoothly,
encouraging and enabling the attention and focus of the students. The facility is a large, colorful, upbeat and playful room,
which hosts 6 colorful, ‘kids-sized’ baby grand pianos. The students learn to read notes, play the piano, and
use the Dalcroze Eurthymics method
for learning tempos and rhythm, using a plethora of percussion instruments and body movement. An electric keyboard is played
by the instructor, introducing a variety of musical sounds, played to the same song, enabling the student to learn to differentiate
different timbres (timbre distinguishes different types of sound production, such as string, woodwind,
and brass instruments).
The program runs throughout the year, and parents sign up for one month
at a time, with no limit for continuing in the program. Spots are limited, so early sign up is encouraged. Priority
is given to existing students in the program. Classes are held on Wednesdays,
at two times, to accommodate both half day and full day preschoolers’ schedules:
Wednesdays: 1:45-2:15PM and
6:15-5:45 PM
Private
Piano, Drum, Vocal, and Guitar lessons may be scheduled in 15-30 minute time slots.
Typically, students continue in the CPS™ for 3 –
6 semesters, and then add a 15-30 minute private lesson on the piano, drums, guitar, or vocal. During the time the students
begin private lessons, they may continue with the CPS™, until
the student graduates from preschool and begins kindergarten. Once students have been taking 30 minute private lessons for
a minimum of 3 months, students are then eligible to partake in “Note Bee Class” ™. Note Bee Class is a competitive and fun class that rapidly teaches note reading,
the understanding of basic to more advanced rhythms, and basic to advanced music theory. This class is held on Thursdays,
from 5:30- 6PM.
Tuition:
Tuition is paid upfront for
the upcoming month. Note: the monthly fee is based on the number of weeks in that particular month (4 or 5).
CPS™: $240 per month flat fee
Private Piano Lessons : 15 Minutes: $25 per week

Private Piano Lessons : 30 Minutes: $50 per week paid monthly
Note Bee Class: 30 Minutes: $100 per month flat fee

Marcy studied classical piano at NYU as a Piano Performance Major, and studied applied piano under the direction of Dr. Lawrence
Ferrara, Professor of Music and Director Emeritus, Music and Performing Arts Professions, NYU. Miss Marcy studied Dalcroze
Eurhythmics under the direction of Professor Frances Webber Aronoff of NYU, the internationally acclaimed Professor who taught
Dalcroze Eurhythmics internationally, and wrote a plethora of books on Dalcroze Eurhythmics and Children. Professor Aronoff
is also renowned for her seminars on the concept of Dalcroze Eurhythmics and learning music in the classroom. Miss Marcy did
her student teaching at the NYC High School of Performing Arts (where the movie-musical “FAME” was filmed). She
performed classical piano throughout Metropolitan New York City and New Jersey. She was a double major at Hartt College of
Music in Music Management and Piano Performance.

is operated at On Stage Studios at the above-designated address. I understand and acknowledge that I am fully aware of and
assume any risks of my minor child’s participation in musical activities at A Prelude to the Classics Music Academy
of Performing Arts & Music Therapy, The Child Prodigy Series (“CPS” ™),
and/or at On Stage Studios, located at the above designated address. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I hold harmless
and agree to indemnify at A Prelude to the Classics Music Academy of Performing Arts & Music Therapy, The Child Prodigy
Series (“CPS” ™), and/or at On Stage Studios
from and against any present or future claim, cause of action, loss or liability for injury to a person or property, which
my minor child may suffer, or for which my minor child may be liable to any other person, related to my minor child’s
