Tuition, Lesson Times, Structure of Lessons:

Piano Instruction: All students  are given a well-rounded program of instruction with training in repertoire, note reading, theory, musicianship, ear training, sight reading, technique and performance. For those interested in performance, composition or theory, extra attention is devoted to these areas. Advanced students work on instrumentation and orchestration and assist in preparing for recitals utilitizing orchestral backgrounds.

Tuition and Payment:Tuition payments are expected in advance, on the first lesson day of week for the week in advance. Payments may be made in cash or by check. Your canceled checks are your receipts. If preferred, payments made be made on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, paid on the first lesson of the payment period. 

The level of the student determines the lesson length. Lesson length increases as the student progresses.  Several types of plans are offered:

Plan 1 - Ages 3 to 5 : 30-60 minute weekly customized lessons in the studio, $40 per 30 minutes, $50 per 45 minutes, $60 per hour per lesson paid weekly in advance, one or two times per week.

Plan 2 - Ages 5+:  60-120 minute weekly lessons in the studio, paid weekly in advance. $60 for 60 minutes, and $100 for 90 minutes,$140 for 120 minutes per lesson. All lessons are customized, and lessons are available 1,2 or 3 times per week. Lessons are available up to a maximum duration of 3 hours per session.

A15% discount  is given for a second sibling or spouse, 10% for siblings thereafter.

Cancellation policy:   One week's notice for rescheduling lessons is required. Lessons are paid for upfront on the day of the first lesson of the week. It is important to give notice in order to allow for a rescheduled time, as time slots are scarce due to the large existing base of students.IMarcy works with students to be flexible with school schedules for children, and work schedules for adults. However, if students cancel without proper notice consistently, the cost of the lesson will be charged.

The Contemporary Musician - Drum, guitar, piano jazz improvisation, and voice instruction policies:

$40 per hour 1,2 or 3 times per week. Payment due on the first lesson of the week.

The String Studio Policies:$60 per hour, $100 per 90 minutes, 1,2,3 times per week.

Semi-private lessons, $40 per student per hour, $80 per student per 90 minutes 1,2,3 times per week.

Preschool group lessons (maximum 8 students per class):

Includes note reading, technique, repertoire, orchestral playing and performance in fun, energetic environment

$350 per session  of 8 weeks, twice weekly Tuesdays, Thursdays 5:30 - 6:15PM
